Accelerating Transmission System Interconnection Strategies (ATSIS) Vouchers Program

Description
In Spring 2025, ENERGYWERX, a Partnership Intermediary for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), will be launching the Interconnection Innovation e-Xchange (i2X) Accelerating Transmission System Interconnection Strategies (ATSIS) Vouchers Program. ATSIS will include two rounds of solicitation and will facilitate matchmaking between transmission owners or Providers (Voucher Recipients) and U.S.-based organizations with specialized expertise in these advanced capabilities (Voucher Providers). Voucher Recipients seeking to enhance their interconnection services with Grid-Enhancing Technologies (GETs) and Inverter-Based Resources (IBRs), as well as training in electromagnetic transient (EMT) modeling, will receive technical support or training from matched Voucher Providers. The value of each voucher will depend on the service, with the estimated value of support services per Recipient ranging from $50,000 to $250,000. Notice for all parties interested in ENERGYWERX events and programs: Announcement of ENERGYWERX events that are considered to have a high potential for further efforts that may be accomplished via FAR-based contracting instruments, Other Transaction Authority (OTA) for prototype projects 10 USC 4022, prizes for advanced technology achievements 10 USC 4025, and/or prize competitions 15 USC 3719, may be made at the www.energywerx.org website. All announcements made at the www.energywerx.org website are considered to satisfy the reasonable effort to obtain competition in accordance with 10 USC 4025, 15 USC 3719 (e) and 10 USC 4022. All FAR-based actions will follow announcement procedures per FAR 5.201(b) accordingly.
